The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the official timetable for the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) 2023. The internal NECO exam is scheduled to commence on Monday, 3rd July 2023, and conclude on Friday, 11th August 2023.


For candidates inquiring about the start date of NECO 2023, please take note that it will begin on Monday, 3rd July 2023, and conclude on Friday, 11th August 2023.


Candidates preparing for the NECO 2023 examination (internal) should be aware of the following guidelines:


1. Blind candidates are required to use the NECO-provided OBR customized braillet sheet during the examination.

2. The use of a scientific calculator is permitted.

3. Programmable calculators are not allowed.

4. Bringing a GSM (mobile phone) into the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
